Marina Conti was born in Milan in 1991. She graduated both in Cultural Heritage Science at Università Statale di Milano and in Set Design at NABA in Milan. She is a freelance set designer, mainly working for theater plays, but also involved in advertising projects, video and photo shoot settings.
Within the theater industry, she also gained experience as ideator, designer and manual creator of settings and props. She worked with several theater directors, among others Serena Sinigaglia, Ferdinando Bruni, Francesco Frongia, Gipo Gurrado, Marialuisa Bafunno, Vanessa Codutti Danilo Capezzani, Carmelo Alù and Omar Nedjari. She collaborates with Teatro Elfo Puccini in Milan as set constructor and with several theater companies, among others Eco di Fondo and Generazione Disagio. She was for 4 years the assistant to the sed designer Maria Spazzi, and she also worked with set designers Maria Paola Di Francesco and Stefano Zullo. She nurtured a collaboration with Teatro Ringhiera A.T.I.R. for many years, being involved both in A.T.I.R. plays and in A.T.I.R. social workshops and urban re-development art performances. In 2016/2017 she worked as assistant director at Teatro alla Scala in Milan, collaborating with the play directors Gabriele Slavatores, Alvis Hermanis and Mario Martone.
Within the photo and video industry she works as ideator, designer and art buyer of settings and props. She works on set for short movie, fashion shooting, adevertising video/photo shooting and video tv commercial. She worked with studios like: Romapress Production, Courage Studio, The Harvest Consulting and Kiwi Production.
From 2017 to 2020 she collaborated as interior designer with Baroni+Piscone, an architect study based in Milan.
Since 2020 she also works as teacher for Università Statale di Milano, holding academic workshops about theatre and video set design, and for SUPSI Mendrisio at the Interior Arhitecture School as theacher assistant at theorical and pratical set designer seminary.
Since 2021 she collaborates as set designer and set designer teacher with Opera Liquida, a theater company based in the Opera prison in Milan composed by convict and ex-con. 
She was the finalist in the prestigious XII European Opera-directing Prize by Camerata Nuova and Opera Europa, and the finalist in Biennale College Teatro 2022, Performance site specific by Biennale di Venezia.
